I am David Castillo aka "DAV!D", Clara is my computer. I'm an amateur poet who got a hold of a synthesizer. I was inspired to become a musician and write songs after seeing Gwen Stefani's music video for her 2004 solo single "What you waiting for?". I am heavily inspired by 1980's music (I'm addicted). Vocally I self taught, and by singing along to Roisin Murphy's "Overpowered" album. I am inspired by Nine Inch Nails after hearing "Deep" from the first "Tomb Raider" film soundtrack. I write all my own lyrics and compose my own songs. I cover songs every now and then. If there's anything I failed to mention, feel free to contact and ask :) .
Initially the intention was to make music on the edge, intelligent lyrics with an industrial sound. I originally strove for bubble gum styled pop. But then I couldn't look myself in the mirror... I began with a very simple drum and bass setup, and then went from there. It evolved into industrial music, because I wanted to recreate the sounds I hear in my head. I was fortunate enough to be able to do that. The music we make is raw, you've been warned.
